NGO's and Canadian Mining Companies

At the beginning of the month, at a loss for anything productive to say, I posted a link to the "Bad-Ass Honey-Badger" video on YouTube. Well, today, commenter "sailsmart" replied that I should write about how the harpercons are giving money to NGO's like PLAN, the World University Service Canada, and others, in return for their teaming up with Canadian mining companies overseas.

The spin is that obviously there are strains when a huge mining project comes to some remote community, but Canadian mining firms are concerned to best practices develop with responsibility blah, blah, blah, blah.

Knowing how the pieces of shit who pull harper's strings work, it'll go like this: Canadian mining companies are among the worst corporate criminals in the world. harper is shameless about using public monies to reward his friends and crush his enemies out of existence. These NGOs will be the first of many forced to trim their sails and use their credibility to provide public relations cover to these scum in order to preserve their very existence. Canada's mining firms will continue to poison and displace people but there'll be heart-warming photo-ops of lame-ass "development projects" going on ten miles away.

And then, at the end of the day, everybody will go home and puke their guts out.

There was a very good interview with a U of Ottawa political science prof (Alex Brown?) about this Harper mandated change on how CIDA operates on CBC "The Current". They also interviewed the President of Plan Canada who sees nothing wrong with the $5 million white wash funding they're getting to train mining workers (well she didn't admit that last part - just education and entrepreneurship blather).

It's tragic. Once upon a time, governments started to think that maybe these grassroots groups should be funded so that their input into the national conversation could be heard.

Then they built institutions on this funding and now they betray their values to preserve their institutions.

Canada is a filthy cesspool of corruption, because of Harper.

It is known Canada is now a fascist, dictatorship regime. Harper is a Reformer, from his Northern Foundation Party, in 1989. They said, the skinheads assisted Harper to organize, his more than shady party.

Actually China is sending their people to school, to learn English, they will work the coal mines.

If any of the seven mines going into Northern BC are foreign owned, they will bring their own miners.

An American company won the contract for, tearing the smelter down in Kitimat, BC. They brought their own workers.

The lie, Enbridge will bring jobs to BC, is total b.s. They have their own pipe layers. Enbridge must have their own crews, to clean up all their 804 spills in the last 10 years. No jobs there either.

The dirty oil tankers will bring, perhaps 12 workers or so, to man the pump house.

There is no longer any pride, in being Canadian. Harper has fouled Canada's once good name. Harper has embarrassed Canadians, far too many times.

Everything dictators touch, they destroy. Harper doesn't even have sense enough to see, he is the laughing stock of the world. He is ridiculed behind his back.

BY - What could the Pres of Plan say, after all it's the golden rule, he who has the gold makes the rules. Very sad.

Can anyone explain the difference between what pimp does, and what Harper is doing to Canada's NGOs.
